Great emphasis is laid on discipline, college
decorum and character building and students are expected to
maintain a high standard of discipline. They are subject to rules
and regulation of the College and Hostel.

The students admitted to the college must abide
by all rules and regulations as prescribed by the college
authorities. Violation of rules, unsatisfactory progress,
irregular attendance, irregular clearance of college and hostel
fees, showing discourtesy to the the teachers and staff members in
any form, adoption of unfair means during examination etc. are of
the offences which may make students liable for disciplinary
action like termination of scholarship, non-awards of college
diploma, forced transfer and even expulsion from the college and
hostel.

All forms of ragging in an within the hostel
and the college campus are prohibited. Strong disciplinary action
as indicated in Sl. No. (ii) above will be taken if any one is
found to be involved directly or indirectly in ragging.

Using
of Mobile Phone within the college premises by the students is
strictly prohibited.
College Uniform
College uniform is must in the college premises.
The
uniform is:
For Boys:
Winter: White shirt and Black trousers and Maroon Colour
(V nick shaped) full or half sweater.
Summer: White shirt and Black trousers.
For Girls:
Winter: Navy Blue blouse and Navy blue bordered white
Chadar-Mekhela / Saree with Maroon Colour sweater (Round neck
shaped).
Summer: Navy Blue blouse and Navy blue bordered white
Chadar-Mekhela / Saree.
The Blue Apron for science students is mandatory during their
practical classes.
Attendance Rules
Students attendance will be followed according to the AHSEC &
Dibrugarh University rules as below:
75%
or above: Regular
60%
to 74% : Non-collegiate
Below
60% : Dis-collegiate
Students who do not attend at least 60% of the classes held will
never be allowed to fill up forms for any external examinations.
Non-collegiate are required to pay a fine for appearing in the
external examinations.
Dis -
collegiates are debarred from appearing in the examinations.
Students who fail to attend their classes over a certain period
of time at a stretch on genuine, reasonable and acceptable
grounds, such as serious disease or accidents and related
treatment involving themselves and members of the family, death
of near and dear ones, academic/sports/cultural activities
approved by the college etc, must apply, in writing to the Head
of the Department concerned for consideration of exemption of
the absence for the period immediately after such absence.
Application must be supported with testimonials/documents
wherever necessary. Even for such cases the actual attendance
must not fall short of 50%.
Examination Rules
The college authority
strictly adheres to college examination and promotion rules. The
rules are available in the office of the Principal. All students
are directed to collect the same. Sessional is compulsory for
every student & Internal assessment is compulsory for TDC
External Examination and no appeal shall be considered.
Examinees must submit the receipt of the Bank deposit of fees
immediately after the deposit to the college office and fill up
the forms correctly. Moreover they must sign in the university
computerized form for admission properly. The college authority
will not be responsible for any discrepancy in this respect.
Other Rules

Students must
follow strictly the rules notified at the college gate
before entering into the college campus.

Each regular
bonafied student at the college must participate at least 3
events in college week.

Some of the
selected events of college week shall be held throughout the
year.

Students are
asked to follow the strict rules during the time of filling
up the examinations forms e.g. signature and other
formalities to be made properly.

Only the bonafied
students of the college having at least 75% attendance per
subject are only eligible to contest in the student union
election. Moreover he/she must bear good moral character.
