Library is the heart of an educational institution. The efficiency of any college can be graded by its treatment of it vital organ the library. Doomdooma College library is situated in tea garden city in the top most corner of Upper Assam. The year of establishment of this college is 1967. Total no. of text and reference books as on 1.1.2010 is 20,194(Twenty Thousand One Hundred Ninety Four) with more than 15 nos. of local and National newspapers, 39 Journals, and other information sources like CDs, maps, globes etc. Doom Dooma College library has separate reading rooms for both students and teachers. It has a special "E-Resource Section" with broad band Internet facility along with printing, scanning, downloading facilities.
The mission of the Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.
